myRoomBud says "No More Naked Scoobas!"

myRoomBud releases the ScooBud, a line of aquatic themed costumes for the iRobot Scooba

Acton, Mass., -- The entrepreneural kids from myRoomBud (www.myroombud.com) who last year introduced the world the RoomBud™, a costume cover for the iRobot® Roomba® Vacuuming Robot that turns your Roomba into a pet, have expanded the pet-i-zation of cleaning robots to bring out the ScooBud, an animal costume for the iRobot Scooba® Floor Washing Robot. ScooBuddies have a distinct aquatic theme with the likes of Toothy the Killer Whale and Sooshi the Goldfish. The aquatic theme for the Scooba was agreed upon after a recent visit to the the New England Aquarium to see the fishies and oogling at numerous humpback whales on the aquarium whale watching trip later that day.
The incredible adoption rate of the iRobot Scooba into household and increased number of requests for Scooba costumes drove myRoomBud to produce the ScooBud line.

"We want to be fair to all cleaning robots," said Isabelle Smith, co-founder of myRoomBud. "We don't want to see naked Scoobas running around when our Roombas have clothing." "We did not start making RoomBud costumes for the iRobot Roomba until there were over 1.5 million Roombas sold," stated Niles Smith, another co-founder of myRoomBud. " With so many Roombas out there, we were already in a deep hole when you think about clothing every Roomba. We will not make that mistake again! By getting the ScoooBud costumes out early before the Scooba population explodes, we have a good shot at keeping the naked Scooba population down."

The new ScooBud costumes from myRoomBud can be viewed on the myRoomBud web site http://www.myroombud.com
